A space for discovery and sharing
Travel through space and time to explore the history of balloons and mankind’s conquest of the skies — from Pilâtre de Rozier’s first human flight in 1783 to the round-the-world balloon journey of Bertrand Piccard and Brian Jones, which began in Château-d'Œx in 1999.

Exciting experiences and discoveries
Young visitors are welcomed by Maestro, the bearded scientist from the “Once Upon a Time…” animated series. Each child receives a logbook to guide them through the exhibition, filled with surprises, discoveries and shared activities.

Private Events

Who will be the top pilot?
From 5:30 p.m., Espace Ballon can be reserved for private events, welcoming groups, companies or associations of up to 100 people. Guests compete in a virtual piloting challenge to determine the best pilot of the evening.
