Overview
Lake Lioson, above the Col des Mosses, deserves its nickname of "the pearl of the Alpine lakes". A stop at the restaurant is a gourmet break, facing the emerald waters of this natural wonder of the region, a goal in itself for a family walk or a break before continuing the hike.
Above Les Mosses, in a preserved natural setting, the Lac Lioson restaurant offers a breathtaking view of the emerald waters and the surrounding mountains such as the Pic Chaussy and the Para. Cheese dishes, seasonal salads, the menu is varied. Try the house speciality; meat on the slate.
After a good walk to reach the site, your children will be delighted to visit the animal park adjacent to the restaurant. Rabbits, goats, chickens and piglets are all on the premises.
The invigorating effect of a dip in the lake regenerates you for the rest of the walk!
